Our client, a deeply rooted, multi-faceted law firm with offices across Georgia, is seeking an experienced CPA to join their Tax & Wealth Planning Group. This role is ideal for a CPA who enjoys collaborating closely with attorneys on sophisticated business transactions and providing strategic, tax-focused insight throughout the deal lifecycle.
The group counsels individuals and families on the acquisition, preservation, management, and transfer of wealth, delivering sophisticated, integrated planning solutions.
The practice weaves together income, gift, estate, and generation-skipping tax planning with trusts and estates, charitable giving, employee benefits, securities, insurance, and business planning involving partnerships and corporations.
Qualifications
• Active CPA license required
• 3 – 5 years of experience in tax, financial, or estate planning (law firm, accounting firm, or wealth management experience preferred)
• Experience preparing gift tax and estate tax returns
• Ability to assist with drafting and preparation of planning documents, exhibits, and supporting materials
• Strong aptitude for determining time value of money, creating loan amortization schedules, and conducting tax research
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills
