Where we work
Growth is rarely abstract.
When a client asks a firm to be somewhere it is not, the firms that can move quickly are the ones that hold the work. We run retained partner-level searches in cities across the country, and we are in a new one whenever a mandate takes us there.
Reach is the easy half. Local depth is the part that decides a search, and a national footprint does not confer it.
Coast to coast
Every marker is a market we have run a search in.
The list grows with the mandates. If your firm is looking at a city that is not lit up here, that is a conversation rather than an obstacle.
-
Nationwide is a starting point, not a claim.
Searches have run from Alaska to South Florida, and from Hawaii to New England. A market enters the list when a mandate puts us there, not because it looked good on a map.
-
The work is local even when the search is not.
Who is genuinely movable in a given city, which firms are quietly hiring, what a book is actually worth once it crosses the street. That is market knowledge, and it is earned one search at a time.
-
Selective on purpose.
We take on the searches we believe we can win, and we say so when we cannot. Being deliberate about what we accept is what protects the outcome for the firm that engaged us.
Expanding into a market, or deepening one?
Either way the first question is the same: what does this market actually hold, and what will it take to land it. One conversation is usually enough to find out.
Every conversation is confidential, and your name is never shopped around the market without your say.
