Onboard Legal is partnering with an organization in Mobile to identify and hire a General Counsel. This role will serve as the chief legal advisor and provide strategic guidance on a broad range of operational, regulatory, and business matters. Responsibilities include advising leadership and the board on governance, compliance, contracting, real estate and development initiatives, employment matters, and risk management. The General Counsel will also manage outside counsel, oversee legal strategy, and ensure that organizational operations align with applicable laws and policies.
Ideal candidates will have strong judgment, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a regulated or public-facing environment.
